Due to the preference for shopping mall parking lots by numerous vehicles for extended periods, the installation of a significant number of charging units is essential. It may be necessary to charge 40-50 vehicles simultaneously, and choosing low-power, numerous charging units is preferred to avoid affecting the building's electrical system.
Drivers using shopping mall charging stations are not in a rush and are likely to charge their vehicles while shopping.
Fast charging stations will be installed at strategic locations, complementing the convenience of shopping mall charging services for electric vehicle users.
Furthermore, compliance with legal requirements is essential. According to the Parking Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated February 22, 2018, at least 10% of parking spaces in new regional and general parking lots, as well as those belonging to shopping malls, must be equipped for electric vehicles (including charging units). For shopping malls larger than thirty thousand square meters, at least one of the installed charging units must have rapid charging capacity, and for malls larger than seventy thousand square meters, at least two units with rapid charging capabilities are required.
